Meet Our CIO

Everyone needs a little inspiration from time to time. Our Chief Inspiration Officer is our ongoing resource for energy, ideas, wisdom, and alignment with our purpose. It’s a big job, but we have nothing but faith that she can handle it. She’s the boss’s kid after all.

Take a minute to meet LCG’s Chief Inspiration Officer.

Founder: And what do you do at Legacy Consulting Group?

CIO: I'm the Chief Inspiration Officer.

Founder: What does that mean? To be a Chief Inspiration Officer?

CIO: That means there are other inspiration officers, but I'm Chief Inspiration Officer, and I make inspirational ideas for the job.

Founder: Why is that important?

CIO: Because what if you don't have any ideas and I come along and say, oh, I have blah blah blah. This is a good idea.

Founder: That is very important and super helpful.

Founder: What kind of stuff does mommy do at work?

CIO: Umm, she's kinda like a teacher, and she helps people deal with their problems, kind of.

Founder: What kind of problems does mommy help people with? Do you know?

CIO: No.

Founder: If you had to guess.

CIO: How to start your legacy?

Founder: You know what a legacy is?

CIO: It's like. A lot. It's like. It's kind of like your timeline of life looks like the timeline of your job. And if, when you pass away, kind of like Michael Jackson - his legacy still lives on in music. So your legacy or the person's legacy will still live on even after they pass.

Founder: Yeah, and is that a good thing?

CIO: Yeah.

Founder: Is it an important thing?

CIO: Yeah.

Founder: What stories does mommy tell you about work?

CIO: Well, like you, kinda… When we have dinner, you tell me that, like what was happening at your job since, since you're the boss, you get to see everybody else's work and you, it's kinda like you're a teacher.

Founder: So at Mommy’s job, we do what's called social impact. You know what that means?

CIO: Social impact is umm. The impact that many people have on the world or the community.

Founder: Why does that matter?

CIO: Because if a bunch of people don't change one bad thing about the world, that one bad thing could affect the whole planet, and then maybe even make us all sick.

Founder: Yeah, and that would be bad. Like all the pollution in the air.

CIO: And since if all the pollution is there, then all the animals are gonna die, and then our food is gonna die and then, and then eventually top of the food chain, AKA us, is also gonna die.

Founder: 'Cause it's all connected, right?

CIO: Mm-hmm. Domino effect.

Founder: Domino effect. What are some things that we can do as people to make a good social impact?

CIO: We can kinda go out protests for changing things like Martin Luther King did. And we can also be like Ruth Bader Ginsburg and change laws by becoming a part of the judicial branch.

Founder: Yeah, you can do that. Is there something that you want to do? Is there a social impact you want to make?

CIO: I want to be the first person on the dark side of the moon. There may be aliens or unicorns. Maybe that's why the unicorns like went extinct. Maybe it's because they actually didn't go extinct. But they went to the moon because people were moving in and they were destroying their homeland. Everybody went to a dark side of the moon and then maybe they had wars with the aliens and that's why it's called the dark side of the moon, 'cause it's dark not like kind of like dark Darth Vader, except dark Vader and the unicorns are battling the umm, the aliens to see who gets the dark side of the moon. And then when the war was over, they decided to be friends. And now they live together peacefully.

Founder: On the dark side of the moon. That's pretty cool. What do you hope for, Mommy?

CIO: I hope that mommy gets what she wants and gets a lot of money so then we can be rich.

Founder: And?

CIO: Then I can also get better food.

Founder: And how can you help?

CIO: I can help by being a team player and making sure you get to work on time and even giving you pieces of paper with some of my ideas if you need help with ideas.

Founder: I always like getting your pieces of paper with ideas on them. They make my day. Thank you.

CIO: You're welcome.
